She is an ambassador for females working in STEM and set up the Reignite program to bring females back to workplace after career breaks.

Gillian has served on the Network Cork committee for over six years, as Newsletter Officer, Secretary, Vice-President, President, Ex-Officio and now Strategic Lead.
