Network Ireland Limerick – June Book Club
June 11 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Network Ireland Limerick are holding their next Book Club event which will be held on Tuesday evening, 11th April from 5.30-6.30pm at No. 1 Pery Square.
Our book club events will focus on books from which we can take inspiration and learnings that we may apply to our professional lives. It is hoped that the chosen books will elicit thought provoking conversation between members from which we’ll grow both personally and professionally, learn from each other’s perspectives and, ultimately, prosper together.
The book that has been chosen to read and review is Dale Carnegie’s “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living”
“Worry effects everyone and descends with ease upon work, money, family file and relationships. This book offers practical strategies for breaking out of this destructive habit, before it breaks you.
Dale Carnegie shows how worry has been conquered by thousands, some famous, but most just ordinary people, and offers practical suggestions for leading a more positive and enjoyable life.” According to the review from O’Mahonys bookshop, Limerick.
There are some practical formulas that you can put to work immediately, which according to Audible books will help you to
- Avoid fatigue and keep looking young
- Add one hour a day to your waking life
- Find yourself and be yourself – remember there is no one on earth like you!
