Celine Byrne’s compelling and thrilling performances have won her the universal acclaim of audiences and critics across the opera world. A performer of fine lyrical quality and a touching actor, Celine made her operatic début as Mimi in La Bohéme in 2010 and in the seasons that have followed, she has performed extensively throughout Europe as well as in the United States, China, Russia and Mexico.  A frequent concert performer, Celine is very familiar to both Irish and international audiences. National Concert Hall regulars have enjoyed her appearances with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, while her lush tones have filled stages from London to New York with world-renowned tenors José Carreras, Roberto Alagna and Joseph Calleja.

Celine Byrne commented: “People often think the world of Opera is incredibly glamorous but they don’t see the hard work that goes on behind the scenes.   I love my craft, and I have studied for many years. I am always on the go, if I am not working, I’m studying or prepping for my next project. It is fantastic to be home and talking to Kildare’s business elite, Network Ireland Kildare Branch Members, and share my experiences with them.”

Pauline Forde, Network Ireland Kildare President, commented: “We are honoured to have Kildare’s soprano supreme, Celine Byrne, with us on Tuesday evening. Celine is a pioneering figure, not only for Kildare but the whole of Ireland. At Network Ireland Kildare branch we believe in pushing ourselves and doing our very best in whatever venture we take on. Who better to advise us than Celine. I know she will be talking to a packed house, as our members hear from the very finest Kildare has to offer.”

This event is hosted by Network Ireland Kildare Branch in association with our supporters, Kildare Local Enterprise Office, AIB Bank and our media partners, Kildare Post.
