My theme for the Kildare branch for 2023 was ‘Synergy’. Synergy takes inspiration from the Ancient Greek philosophy that “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”. We have seen businesswomen within our branch thrive through collaboration and knowledge sharing. Our branch has over ninety engaged members and with the support of the committee we will continue to support these women with their personal and professional goals. Each of our members bring something new to the group enhancing its power and synergistic opportunities. Whatever goal you have as a member you will gain the most by attending events, speaking with new connections, building on relationships and opening yourself to the potential that awaits.

I worked in the small business sector all my life, first helping my mother run a travel agency and then running my own business at the age of 18.
I moved to Ireland in 2004 and for last 7 years before the pandemic, I managed a team of ten people in a Dublin based high-end travel company. When the tourism came to a standstill in 2020, I decided to make a U turn in my career and start my own business.
I am a self-learner and have the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and therefore I had no hesitation to start a new business, however running your own company might be a lonely journey at times, even with many people around like suppliers, contractors etc.
This is when Network Ireland Kildare Branch came to my life, and I am very grateful for that.
Having the opportunity to share my journey, with all its struggles, in the safe, friendly, and non-judgmental environment meant the world to me.
Now, I want to give back to the organisation as a committee member.
