I was born in Dublin and grew up loving summer holidays in Brittas Bay. Before moving to South Africa where I finished school and began an incredible journey of business, as well as travel around the region,
experiencing much of Africa and the beauty she offers the world. In 2018 my now-Irish husband and I moved back to Ireland, and we now just love living in Mayo – what a beautiful county, offering so many
fabulous backdrops for great photography and writing opportunities. My working career is continuously creative. I co-own our online employee engagement solution business, An Even Better Place to Work
(bp2w®), with my husband. In my capacity as the Chief Marketing Officer, I also work with global customers, for whom I provide and manage Strategic Communications, along with full Marketing and Social
Media Management Services. I am an outdoor photographer and have developed my own brand, creating a range of my own annual calendars, postcards. As well as my own photo-poetry book, Life Threads, which
I self-published and I now facilitate creative writing courses on this book concept. In 2024, I was incredibly proud to have won Creative Professional for Mayo, in Network Ireland’s Businesswoman of
the Year Awards. In 2025, I am honoured to be elected VPD of Network Mayo and I look forward to working with a team full of supportive, positive energy for all things Women in Business, giving me more
confidence in the work I do as a Creative Professional. Keeping in line with our new 2025 President’s theme for the year, “Together we are Stronger”.
I have been a member of Network since 1995 - originally in Galway and then in Mayo. I am an ambassador for Network Mayo, here to ensure that my group members are up to date, informed on what supports are
available to them, encourage meeting attendance and be there if needed. Network is a great opportunity to meet likeminded business women, to share your skills and experiences, it's also nice just to
have a cup of coffee and reflect, and to provide support and assistance when needed.
