Meet our speakers

Clodagh Kavanagh is Executive Director the Godolphin International Thoroughbred Leadership Programme, an educational trust based at Kildangan Stud, in County Kildare. In the role since 2003, she has responsibility for a team of coordinators based in Ireland, UK, USA and Australia. The programme is a two-year, full time, management and leadership scholarship for high potential individuals who want to lead change in the Thoroughbred horseracing industry.

She is passionate about the power of communication and positive relationships. She has used her Business Coaching and Myers-Briggs training to identify how teams and individuals can increase their self-awareness, make decisions, communicate better and deal with change leading to improved personal and professional outcomes.

Clodagh is a board member of the Irish National Stud and co-founder of the Women’s Irish Network for Racing (WINR).

Jean Evans is an expert on all things networking which is why she founded NetworkMe. It is her passion, and one that is borne out of experience and plenty of trial and error, mistakes and mishaps. Through her blogspodcast and social media channels, Jean shares tips, tricks, hacks and ideas on how to become an effective networker in business and in professional life.

She firmly believes that if all business owners and ambitious professionals learn to network successfully that they will grow in confidence, both personally and professionally.  And with growing confidence, businesses will excel, flourish and it will be a rising tide effect.  Most things in business can be outsourced.  The one thing that can’t be outsourced is learning how to connect with other people and how to build strategic, effective and solid relationships.

NetworkMe offers training, speaking, facilitation, mentoring and coaching on all areas of business and professional networking. As someone who has networked both at corporate and career level, to networking in the SME community, Jean shares unique insights into networking from the perspective of a shy introvert.

Jean is also the Founder of Ignite Business Network, Ireland’s newest business to business referral network and hosts the #IgniteTalks podcast.  She is a partner in Advancia, which provides coaching, training and consulting on gender balance to businesses who wish to accelerate the journey of developing female leaders and supporting male allies.  www.advancia.ie

Jean has also recently taken on the mantle of radio host for the Dublin City FM radio show, Making a Difference.
