I started the business in 2014 as a mum who wanted to get back out there and I saw a huge gap in the market for a well stocked dance shop, run by someone who had the knowledge and expertise to help dancers on the journey. As a former ballet and modern dance teacher I was already supplying my own students but once we started our family, it was too difficult to continue with my schools so I took a career break and once our children were old enough, 7/5/2, I started Studio Dancewear, supplying dancewear to dance schools, knowing there was a lack and a big gap in the market for not only a well stocked dance shop, but one that had the expertise and knowledge that I had. I now supply over 25 schools nationwide and am looking forward to increasing that number this Summer!
