With over 20 years of financial and commercial experience exclusively in SMEs, I combine practical expertise with a strong academic foundation. I am a qualified management accountant (CIMA) with a degree in Business Studies and an MBA, and I specialise in strategic planning, innovation, and business development for small businesses.
I run my own consultancy business, supporting clients in areas such as lean strategies, digital transformation, and funding readiness. I have extensive expertise in developing financial projections and business plans for Local Enterprise Offices, Microfinance Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, and other funding organisations. Additionally, I lecture part-time in Business Computing at TUS Athlone.
Having worked exclusively in SMEs, I bring real-world experience from managing innovation departments, implementing ERP and accounting systems, and supporting growth and transformation in micro-enterprises. My approach is results-driven, practical, and grounded in understanding the challenges faced by small businesses.
When I’m not mentoring or consulting, you’ll find me reading (a lot!), skiing, hiking, or gardening.
